Main Circulation Pump It assures water circulation in the primary circuit. It pumps the cooled water of the primary circuit from steam generator back into reactor, where it is directed into the active zone, where it takes away the originating heat by its passing through fuel assemblies.

Turbo Generator Thermal energy of steam generated in steam generators is changed to electric energy in turbo generators. Steam flows from steam generator into turbine, which has a high-pressure part and a doubled low-pressure part.

Cooling Tower Cooling of turbines’ condensers, in which unavailable energy is taken away from the steam, is assured by the third, so called circulation cooling power plant’s circuit. Its most well-known part is formed by cooling towers, where water from condensers is cooled down.

The aim of the 2nd stage of V1 NPP decommissioning (2015-2027) is the decommissioning of structures and buildings in the power plant nuclear island, i.e. the reactor, steam generators, main reactor building, auxiliary operations building and remaining auxiliary buildings, which have not been decommissioned in the 1st stage of decommissioning.

According to the Atom Code, all the activities in the course of treatment of radioactive waste have to be directed to its safe storage. It is clear from this reason that storing and storage of RAW represents a very significant activity.

Insulation of radioactive waste from environment and performance of requirements of supervisory bodies and legislation on required safety will be achieved in the deep repository by system of manifold engineering and natural barriers.
