Natural analogues are systems in nature, in which in historical or geological periods took place or recently are taking place physical and chemical processes similar to those, which can occur in an deep geological repository.

JAVYS encompasses with its activities the whole spectrum of nuclear energetics. This includes the decommissioning of nuclear facilities, the providing of nuclear services in the field of processing and treatment, storage of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel management, as well as the construction and operation of nuclear facilities.

The general goal of nuclear safety is to protect individuals, the society and the environment by determining and maintaining efficient protection against nuclear hazards. Meeting the requirements of nuclear safety is top priority to JAVYS.

The operation of the V1 was reliable, safe, ecological and economically advantageous and it confirmed the soundness of the company’s decision to generate electricity using these means. This can further be documented by the results of some technical-economic indicators.

In accordance with the Slovak Republic Government resolution No. 801/1999 and selected alternative for immediate decommissioning, the two V1 NPP units were definitively shut down in line with relevant Time schedule.

JAVYS is member of a diverse and skilled European consortium for EU funded CBRN project to enhance the management, handling and disposal of hazardous CBRN waste material. The purpose of this project is to support the long-term objectives of the governments of the South-East and Eastern European (SEEE) region partner countries.

Pavol Štuller is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of JAVYS, a.s. company. He was born in 1975. He completed his higher education studies at College of Management at the City University of Seattle.
