Description

Objectives: in 2006 Unit1 and in 2008 Unit 2 of V1 NPP will be shutdown definitively. However, the SE VYZ and V1 NPP need for steam and hot water supply will continue. The project objective is to adapt the Heating and Steam Distribution System functions to the new situation. The modified system shall provide after final V1 NPP shutdown the following:

• auxiliary steam supply from V2 NPP units or ABP to all steam consumers in V1 NPP and VYZ area,
• auxiliary steam supply (backup steam) from ABP for both V2 NPP units (heating station and auxiliary headers 1,3 MPa),
• auxiliary steam supply from ABP for HS EBO (backup steam),
• production and distribution of hot water for V1 NPP and VYZ heating purpose,

taking into account:

• the new configuration of the NPPs on site, as consequence of the V1 NPP final shutdown, (to cover all the here-after operational modes)
• the necessity to allow independent decommissioning of the different entities of V1 NPP. Any entity, as building, turbine hall and so on, shall be able to be entirely dismantled without any impact on the others entities of V1 area.
