Description

Objectives: during the period of V1 pre-decommissioning, a substantial reduction in water consumption is expected. The total water consumption will drop significantly in particular before the end of the pre-decommissioning period. In spite of this, some water supply and circulation will have to be preserved for safety and operational reasons. Thus, the modification of water systems shall enable:

• to continue supplying water to operating consumers,
• to minimise the number of items in operation,
• to facilitate the decommissioning process,
• to cope with the new operational conditions during shutdown and predecommissioning period,
• to provide maximal flexibility with regard to the process of decommissioning,
• to continue the A1 NPP, RWTC and V1 NPP operation without any disturbances.
