JAVYS, a. s., recycled in 2016 within the A1 NPP and V1 NPP decommissioning process from decommissioned material more than 944 tons of secondary raw material.
Within A1 NPP and V1 NPP decommissioning process, our company returned in 2016 to recycling process 944.28 tons of secondary raw material. Recycling of as much material as possible, minimising of the waste production and environmental protection is one of the main goals of JAVYS, a. s.
From the overall volume in 2016, the largest amount of secondary raw material was 889 tons of iron and 29 tons of aluminium. The financial resources which company JAVYS, a. s., earned by recycling process were reinvested into the process of nuclear facilities decommissioning, thereby saving state budget resources and in case of V1 NPP decommissioning, the EBRD resources.

Waste that can potentially jeopardize one of the components of the environment is temporarily stored in technologically secured areas in order to prevent negative impacts on surrounding environment, or potential risk to human life or health, property or environment. Those that can be returned to recycling process of JAVYS, a. s., are recycled.
