Based on the resolution by the only shareholder, from 20.6.2011, Mr. Ing. Ján Horváth was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and at the same time Chief Executive Officer of JAVYS, by the Ministry of Economics of the Slovak Republic.

At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Ing. Miroslav Obert, and  a Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Ing. Milan Orešanský, were appointed.

Ing. Ján Horváth
Graduated from the Chemistry and Technological faculty of the Slovak College of Technology in Bratislava, in 1987. Works in the field of nuclear energetics since 1993. In Slovenské elektrárne, in the SE facility — nuclear power plant Bohunice, he was in the positions of Special Measurements Technologist, Chemical Processes Department Manager and in the SE-VYZ facility, he was Deputy Director for Technical Support and Safety and Chief of the Safety branch. Since 2006 he was Chief Director of the Safety Division, Safety Section Manager and since 2010 Member of the Board of Directors and Director of the Safety Division.

During his professional career in energetics he was engaged in the processes of radioactive waste processing and treatment, decommissioning of nuclear facilities, and spent nuclear fuel management. He managed activities connected to nuclear and conventional safety, fire protection, accident and crisis planning, defense and security of nuclear facilities and radiation protection.
