European Union has finally approved more money for NPPs decommissioning at Slovakia, Lithuania and Bulgaria from 1l January 2014, but under more strict rules. The decision followed nearly 2 years negotiation.

Slovakia will receive from EU in 2014 – 2020 for V1 NPP in Jaslovske Bohunice decommissioning 225 MEUR, instead of originally planned 115 MEUR. I tis result of 2 years negotiations in all EU bodies from EC, EU Council up to European Parliament.

Mentioned increased volume has approved on its December (2013) the EU Council, which is the Union highest legal body.
