The document offers reflection and insight into the potential of using nuclear energy as a safe source aiming at meeting the goals and overcoming the challenges of climate change and energy poverty. In the context of irreversible global warming, the film raises the idea that nuclear power may be the future lungs of the earth, because nuclear energy is emission-free and can help us slow or even reverse this dangerous trend.
Director and screenwriter himself had the opportunity to present the documentary at the 53rd World Economic Forum 2023 in Davos, Switzerland. Oliver Stone became famous for his war-themed films Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July and Heaven & Earth, and he has directed blockbusters such as Wall Street or The Doors.
