The Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic (ÚJD SR) has issued a resolution about the approval of the first stage of decommissioning the V1 NPP. On Tuesday, the 19th of July 2011 the ÚJD SR has issued resolution Nr.

     The JAVYS, a. s. Based on the resolution by the only shareholder, from 20.6.2011, Mr. Ing. Ján Horváth was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and at the same time Chief Executive Officer of JAVYS, by the Ministry of Economics of the Slovak Republic.

Four cooling towers of the former nuclear power plant V1 in Jaslovské Bohunice have been demolished. Demolition works lasted 272 working days, the last piece fell on the ground today.

Based on the decision of the Government of the Slovak Republic on privatization of company Slovenské elektrárne, a.s., decisions of the National Property Fund and after fulfilling all conditions, the contracts and permits, based on which company GovCo, a.

85 pieces of fibre concrete containers (FCCs) were transported to and disposed of at the National Radwaste Repository in the first half of 2018.

Company JAVYS transported the last of twelve 145-tonne steam generator from the decommissioned V1 NPP in Jaslovské Bohunice. Transport of steam generators was a “unique” activity in the history of Slovakia and the V1 NPP decommissioning process now continues in the primary circuit.

During the weekend company JAVYS, a.s., for the second time, successfully completed one of the most complex operations of the V1 NPP decommissioning project, when it transported the second reactor pressure vessel weighing more than 200 tons!

420 pieces of fibre-concrete containers were transported and disposed of in the National Radwaste Repository in 2016.

In 2016 company JAVYS, a. s. carried out three transports of spent nuclear fuel and participated in five transports of fresh nuclear fuel.
