Because the standard gas delivery to Slovakia was renewed and due to the fact that the Slovak electroenergetic system is stabilized, it was on the Crisis committee of the Ministry of economy, which took place on 23.1.2009, stated that the conditions for emergency capacities by possble Bohunice V1 NPP Unit 2 restart for the period necessary of electricity supply ensurance to the electric trnsmition system have disapeared.

Based on the shareholder — Ministry of economy order, is the Nuclear and decommissioning company canceling realisation of preparation activities oriented to all conditions for V1 NPP Unit 2 start-up creation. The company will continue in standard activities in complience with valid legislation and approved processes in connexion with the Unit shut-down and operation termination.
