JAVYS, a.s., and NUCLECO S.p.A., signed a Memorandum of Understanding for radioactive waste treatment services in Bratislava, Slovakia.  This step constitutes  an important part in broadening activities of both companies abroad.
 
NUCLECO and JAVYS both want to combine their experience in radioactive waste processing. In this aspect discussions on processing of institutional radioactive waste from Italian medical facilities in the form of a Pilot project are already under way.  Under the Act No. 541/2004 Coll. on Peaceful use of nuclear energy and applicable European legislation, will the waste after processing be returned to Italy for final disposal.

NUCLECO is a state joint stock company, whose purpose is collecting, transport and conditioning of radioactive waste its their final disposal. Co-operation with JAVYS will lead to substantian reduction of waste volume in Italy and increase the level of safety.
