In 2014, the company JAVYS, a.s. achieved an after tax profit of EUR 12.060 million. The profit before tax was EUR 20.917 million, which represents an annual increase of 23.6% compared to the end of 2013.

Total sales and revenues for the full-year 2014 were EUR 131.894 million compared to EUR 109.217 million in 2013. The successful results of JAVYS, a.s. are due to an increase in the volume of nuclear services provided in the field of radioactive waste management, spent nuclear fuel management and due to a progress made in A1 NPP and V1 NPP decommissioning.
2014 can be regarded as a successful year for JAVYS, a.s. also in terms of international tenders, having gained new contracts in the Czech Republic, Italy and Iraq.

In 2014, the 1st stage of V1 NPP decommissioning was completed. As of 1 January 2015, the company was granted permission by NRA SR for the 2nd stage of V1 NPP decommissioning which shall be completed by 2025. Last year, the activities within the 2nd stage of A1 NPP decommissioning continued in accordance with the plan. The 2nd stage of A1 NPP decommissioning shall be completed by the end of 2016.

Last year the company implemented an important investment program totalling EUR 27.9 million to build the necessary infrastructure for the back-end of the nuclear energy industry. The most important actions included a successful putting into operation of the 2nd double-row of the National Repository at Mochovce, technological upgrade of processing facilities, reconstruction of site physical protection system, modification of the power supply scheme and commencement of building works on Interim storage of RAW at Bohunice site.

As of 31 December 2014, the company employed a total of 818 people.
