Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť, a.s. (JAVYS) participated in the perFEKT AtomDay 2025 professional event, which took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies of the Brno University of Technology (FEKT VUT). The aim of the event was to introduce the general public to current topics in the field of nuclear energy and to enable students, experts, and interested persons to learn about current trends in this promising field.
The event took place on 15 October 2025, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology, Brno University of Technology. The event´s agenda included the professional as well as complementary topics that focused on presentations by leading experts, demonstrations of modern technologies, an exhibition of historical and contemporary dosimetry devices, and stands of research, industrial, and state institutions operating in the nuclear energy sector. Among the participants was also company JAVYS, which presented its activities and projects in the field of nuclear facility decommissioning, radioactive waste management, and nuclear fuel cycle at its stand. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the technological processes used by the company, as well as JAVYS' contribution to the safe and responsible decommissioning of nuclear facilities in Slovakia.
The perFEKT AtomDay 2025 event was held in the spirit of connecting education, research, and practice. It was held under the auspices of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Lukáš Vlček, and the Rector of the Brno University of Technology, Ladislav Janíček.
