Cooling Tower
Cooling of turbines’ condensers, in which unavailable energy is taken away from the steam, is assured by the third, so called circulation cooling power plant’s circuit. Its most well-known part is formed by cooling towers, where water from condensers is cooled down. Condensate originating from steam is led back to steam generator, where it changes into steam again and flows into turbine. Cycle of water and steam in the secondary circuit is closed. While the primary and secondary circuits are closed circuits, that of circulation water is open (in cooling towers blow-off of steam and tiny water particles to the atmosphere takes place).
