Turbo Generator
Thermal energy of steam generated in steam generators is changed to electric energy in turbo generators. Steam flows from steam generator into turbine, which has a high-pressure part and a doubled low-pressure part. Expansion of pressure steam at vanes of turbine’s rotor makes it spinning. Change of kinetic energy to electric one takes place in generator, rotor of which is firmly connected with turbine’s rotor. After expansion of steam in the low-pressure part and decrease of temperature in turbine, steam is changed into water in condensers.
